Ek Villain (2014) is a romantic action-thriller directed by Mohit Suri. The story follows Guru (Sidharth Malhotra), a hardened hitman for a mobster in Goa, whose life is transformed after he falls in love with the vivacious and optimistic Aisha (Shraddha Kapoor). However, their chance at a peaceful life is shattered when Aisha becomes the victim of a serial killer, Rakesh Mahadkar (Riteish Deshmukh), a seemingly ordinary, henpecked man who vents his frustrations by brutally murdering women who are "rude" to him. The film shifts into a dark tale of vengeance as Guru hunts down the killer, leading to a confrontation that blurs the lines between the "hero" and the "villain."
